X-pop confronts the covert and overt racist depictions of Asian archetypes from pop culture in a web-based XR experience built in Maya and Blender for Mozilla Hubs. X-pop  is a satirized virtual “celebration” of Hollywood's AAPHNI community, highlighting the ways perpetual misrepresentation for minorites can culminate into strained relationships between self-identity and forced assimilation. This VR exhibition was launched in March 2022 through my residency with Agora Digital Art.
